Here at Sydney MCS we specialise in the provision of aged care services for people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds (CALD). We recognise and value that people from CALD backgrounds have their own unique needs when it comes to in-home personal care.

Sydney MCS is a NDIS registered service provider from 1st July 2017. As part of NDIS, we take a ‘lifetime approach’ to support all Australians who have a loved one with a disability and ensure you get peace of mind in receiving relevant care and support.

About us

Sydney Multicultural Community Services is a not for profit organisation. With more than 30 years of experience, we have helped Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities, including the aged, newly arrived migrants and refugees and those in crisis, suffering from language barriers, isolation, disability, poverty, disadvantage, and helplessness.

WOMEN & YOUTH

Women and youth faces distinct challenges in participating in the productive sectors of the economy. Sydney Multicultural Community Services regularly organises youth and women specific programs to help provide them with person centred strength based case work with holistic approach, knowledge, employment, capacity-building activities and support services to gain control over their lives, overcome barriers and achieve their goals.

GET INVOLVED

Volunteers play such an important role at Sydney Multicultural Community Services. As a multicultural organisation, our volunteers are also incredibly diverse, they represent 20 different language groups, and we pride ourselves on our multilingual volunteers who can connect with the client’s language and culture.

EVENTS

Sydney MCS organises many events throughout the year. The events promotes intercultural understanding, community harmony and social inclusion. Our events such as International Women’s Day, Harmony Week and Multicultural Seniors Carnivale celebrates cultural diversity and can lead the way to social harmony by engendering positive interactions amongst people from all kinds of backgrounds.
